"Thanks for the cake, it was delicious. The girls really enjoyed the pool, even at this time of year. What a brilliant holiday cottage!" Barbra Hewitt and Graham, Alice and Olivia and Eric the dog, Leicester, October 2011
"We had two wonderful weeks here in Pembrokeshire. Littel Loveston is such a lovely and cosy place, we enjoyed very much - especially the sauna and pool. We ae sad to leave this wonderful place and hope we will come back soon, perhaps next year?! Thank you very much." Christof, Luca, Anke und Gisela, Reckllinghausen, Germany, Sept 2011
" We had a fantastic time here and are sorry to be going home. There is so much to do and so many lovely beaches to visit. The week has gone too quickly! Thank you for a lovely welcome and a beautiful clean cottage - the boys loved the lego and we all loved the cake!" Alessio, Katy, Matteo, Stefano and Luca Bernadelli, Cardiff, August 2011
"What an excellent set-up you have here; well done!! We've had a good week visiting South Pembs with just one day visiting familiar haunts 'up north'; Solva, St Davids, Abereiddi. This south end is equally varied and exhilerating. Carew Inn did us a fine meal but Jeffreyston Inn was tastier still with a very imaginitive menu." Dave and Julie Evans, Gloucestershire, July 2011
"We've enjoyed every minute of our stay here from the warm welcome and delicious tea and cake to our many visits to the most beautiful coastline and dog friendly beaches. The barn is so cosy, we enjoyed setting a welcoming fire after our wonderful days out. Brilliantly located for Tenby, Amroth, Saundersfoot, Manorbier, Freshwater East, Broad Haven and the Lily Ponds at Bosherston. We will be coming back." Patricia and Kate Le Petit, June 2011
'We have had a really wonderful relaxing
time here. Harry in particular has LOVED swimming
in your lovely pool and warming himself up in the
sauna afterwards! We've enjoyed some super outings
- to Manorbier, Barafundle beach (lovely crashing
waves), Carew Castle, Heatherton (to try Treetops
climbing and water-walking), Tenby and Saundersfoot.
We've enjoyed lovely lounging around and reading and
we are sad to go but leave with very happy
memories. Thankyou.' Hodder family, Derby, Sept
2010
'Our
second visit: very pleasant yet again. We have all
enjoyed it. Went so quickly - a week isn't quite long
enough' Mynheers, Berkshire, August 2010
'A great base for a weeks activity
holiday, Fishing, Wallking, Sea Kayak! (7 miles),
also some great on-land events for a group - Heatherton
and Oakwood. A well equipped place to stay and we
have been made very welcome. Many Thanks. Nick,
family&friends, July 2010
'Looking through the guestbook I
havent found anyone else from Cork or even Ireland
who has stayed here before. I think we'll have to
change that by telling everyone about this place.
Our first time in Wales and I think it won't be our
last. Perfect little place in a perfect setting. Tim
and Ruth have worked hard to convert this place to
what it is and it really shows. The setting, landscape,
beaches and way of life here are really great. Well
impressed. The pool is a wonderful addition to the
place, on a hot day you may as well be in the south
of France. Thanks for everying and we will be recommending
Little Loveston to all at home.' Lynch Family,
Cork, Ireland, July 2010
'Great to be back at Little Loveston.
Blessed with fantastic hot sunny weather. Visited
old favourites - Broadhaven South Beach and Tenby
South Beach. Oakwood was a favourite for Matthew and
Robert along with the Blue Lagoon Water Park. The
pool was fantastic especially during this hot spell
and Matthew and Robert had a great time playing football
in the evenings with the other boys here. Sad to leave
this wonderful part of Wales but rest assured we ill
be back soon. Thank you Ruth and Tim and thanks for
the delicious cake - it did not last long!' The
Berry Family, Lancashire, June 2010
'Another fantastic week in this wonderful
cottage. Sitting in the beautiful garden, the usual
stress of everyday life seem a long way away. We have
been to some old favourite places; Barafundle, Manorbier,
Carew Castle and a lovely walk around the dale peninsula
as well as exploring some new ones; Lawrenny Quay
is very pretty as is Freshwater West (especially to
watch the sun set). Food at the Farm Shop was outstanding
as usual and when we fancied a night off from BBQs
the Carew Inn was great (if it's good enough for Russell
Crowe!) The pool is another very well done addition
here and a real haven in glorious sunshine (its not
too cold - honest!) Thank you again to Ruth and Tim
and we are already looking forward to our next visit!' Jennifer and Al, Leeds, May 2010
'Wow, what a fabulous week. we couldn't
have had weather more perfect to relax in. Day after
day of clear blue sky and where better to soak up
the sun than this peaceful garden in this delightful
place. We have also revisited some favourite haunts
- Saundersfoot, Carew Castle and Narberth, and been
to some new areas - lovely walk at Treffgarne Gorge
and Amroth. but there is still plenty more to do and
see so we will be back next year. Thank you Ruth and
Tim' Malcolm, Sue and Rosie (the dog), Co. Durham,
April 2010
'Thank you for a lovely holiday,
we have had 2 fabulous weeks, you are fantastic hosts
and made us very welcome (even Nora and Jasmin). This
is the best place we have found to stay in Pembrokeshire
and we will definitely be back. We were so cosy in
the Long Barn and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Hope to return here very soon' Roy
and Angie, Co Durham, Oct 09
'Our first trip to Wales to
trace our heritage. We have lost our hearts to this
corner of paradise you call home. The warm welcome
we found at Little Loveston made us feel we'd come
'home' too! Thank you for all the advice, and the
warm hospitality - we know we will be back. The cake
alone would make it worthwhile - Thank you Ruth, Tim
and family.' Gail
and Joan Squires, South Africa and Bahrain, Sept 09
'Our 4th stay at Little Loveston
and another lovely family holiday. We have really
enjoyed staying in the lovely, cosy cottage and the
girls have loved having the freedom to play outside
and in the games room and enjoyed playing with new
friends.' Michelle
and Geraint 'I loved staying at Little
Loveston, the cottage was cosy, I loved playing in
the play area, also the pool and going in the games
room playing pool with my Dad. I made lots of new
friends and visited lots of places.' Anya
(9). 'I loved watching and helping Anya
and Dad play pool and playing table football and playing
in the hammock and the caravan' Mia (5).The

'A nice balance of a wide
variety of interests in the general area. Accommodation
nice and clean and comfortable; and plenty of space
which was an unexpected surprise. The children have
both thoroughly enjoyed the garden attractions and
Games Room and made some friends. Noticeably, the
nicer places for visiting are all quite nearby - the
castles and beaches - without having to drive miles
to see anything.' Julia,
Nigel, Leyla and Chris, Bucks, Aug 09
'We've had a lovely time and
would love to come back. Enjoyed the space here and
the play area, also the childrens' books in the games
room. Thankyou! Would recommend Brunel Trail - excellent
traffic-free cycle route (ask Tim!), Broadhaven, South
beach, Feccis fish and chips and ice cream at Tenby,
Carew Inn for good meal (we ate in the garden with
our children who enjoyed play equipment) Thankyou
for a lovely relaxing holiday!. Elaine,
Andrew, Matthew (7), Joe (2), London, July 09
'Our first visit to Little
Loveston and we hope to come back again in the future.
Despite some inclement weather, we had an action-packed
week which left everyone happy. Boys love the games
room, the new pool (an unexpected bonus!) and access
to the fields around the cottages. They also enjoyed
a surfing lesson ant Newgales with Newsurf . Treetops
at Heatherton was great fun.' Caroline. 'Loved Long Barn and the lovely hosts,
always freindly and helpful, making us feel at home.' Joe (14) 'It's a really
wicked place! There's loads of things to do without
even leaving the place (games room, play area and
pool). Can't wait to come back!!!' Matt
(12). 'Lovely place, lovely part of the
world. Look forward to returning.' Philip,
Reynolds Family, West Sussex July 09
'We enjoyed a splendid time
at a wonderful place, comfortable and relaxing. Especially
the garden was great just lazing around on a warming
afternoon sun after a day filled with new impressions.
Congratulations to Ruth and Tim for a true little
paradise you've created. Many thanks for a perfect
start of our Tour de Cymru!'Hannelore
und Klaus, Germany June 09
'Our third very relaxing break
in this lovely cottage in beautiful Pembrokeshre but
our first in May so a very different feel - longer
days, warmer and lots of wild flowers. Have revisited
familiar favourite places as well as new ones, especially
the lovely walk around Wooltack Point and Marloes.
The meal at the Carew Inn was as delicious as ever
and the food from the Farm Shop was of the usual high
standard - lamb chops and Pembrokeshire potatoes!
The peace and tranquility here is such a welcome respite
from our usually frantic lives - we love it here and
will be back next Easter'. Malcolm,
Sue, Madeleine, Yippy and Rosie the dog, Co. Durham,
May 09
'Lovely cottage, surroundings
and delightful setting. Enjoyed coastal walks in Dale,
Solva, Manorbier, Marloes, Bosheston, Broadhaven South
and a very wet jet boat trip from St Davids (recommended
for speed and wildlife but take waterproofs!) Please
be nice to the very friendly cat and dog, hopefully
we didn't overfeed them (especially the cat) and we
would like to adopt them. Would recommend the water
park if its wet, the farm shop, and thanks the the
lovely owners. Credit to them for developing such
a superb project. See you again soon we hope!!' Al
and Jenny, Leeds, May 09
'I liked staying in the Long
Barn. I played pool and football with dad and table
tennis with Mum. Great location, great cottage and
perfect hosting. Rohan
(8), Sachin (4), Derby, April 09
'Stayed a lovely couple of
days here which went far too quick. Cottage charming,
really lucky with the weather and enjoyed the sunshine
out in the back garden. The cake on arrival was much
enjoyed and admired! Lovely setting, enjoyed the log
fire very much and the roaming chickens and Nora the
dog. Had a very good meal at Carew Inn. can recommend
the lemon dover sole, and chips were amazing. also
try the orange cheesecake, it's to die for! Well done
to Tim and Ruth for creating a lovely retreat and
the very best of luck for your future in continuing
success.' Janet
